Out of curiosity, I did a quick evaluation of the top 20 results of how well Google provided search results that match the query.
Out of the top 20,
3 were directories which is one way to find sites with Christmas Gifts.
1 was a mall selling gifts that specific vendors were supplying
4 were article related sites which were not related to gifts.
That means 40% of the returned sites had little to do with “Christmas gifts”. Not much hope for the mom and pop stores because people rarely go past page 3 and seldom go past page 1.
If there wasn’t any junk there, we might make the top 20 for the term “Christmas Gifts“.
Okay, I am done whining now.
